Configuring your Public Roadmap

Configuring your Public Roadmap

What is a Public Roadmap?

Your Public Roadmap is a public area that can be published as a direct link or can be embedded within your own websites. All Public Roadmaps have three core elements:
  1. Roadmap
  2. Updates
  3. Ideas
Each section can be switched on or off and can be customised in a number of ways to suit your needs. Here's an example of our own Public Roadmap:

Here you can see we have chosen to enable all three components (Roadmaps, Updates & Ideas).

Configuring your Public Roadmap

To begin configuring your Public Roadmap, navigate to a Roadmap and then select 'Edit Roadmap', or alternatively, you can find the same settings from the Embed settings page.

This will load up the Roadmap settings modal. From here you can customize your internal view as well as your public canvas view.

The majority of settings will have two options, one for each of your internal and public views:

Every setting has a small blurb about what it controls.

Once done, don't forget to save!

Embedding your Public Roadmap

Navigate to your Embed Code settings page and you'll find the iFrame snippet required in order to embed your Public Canvas within a website:

  1. Copy the iFrame code snippet
  2. Paste it into the HTML page(s) you want the Public Roadmap to display
  3. Check and configure your public settings
